Join a team of Zumba and Mixxed Fit instructors for a special dance fundraiser to benefit programs and scholarships at the Stanwood-Camano YMCA! Cost is $15 per person. Healthy fun for ALL ages! Grab your friends or kids and get out of the house for an evening of music and dancing!

Bring the kids to check out this FUN and FREE Easter egg hunt at Ground Zero Gymnastics! They will have eggs placed around the gym with numbers hidden inside. Once your child finds an egg, they'll be able to exchange that egg for a prize out of the prize basket with the corresponding number. Hop on down and have a great time!

*They are asking that the older kids allow, the younger kids time to find eggs.

Beginners Yoga (Camano Island, WA)

Join in on this fun course of yoga for beginners, on Saturdays from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. If you have ever wanted to come to a yoga class but something has stopped you, then this is THE CLASS for YOU! In these classes, they will discuss the "what and why" of yoga, focus on connecting your breathing and movement. Learn basic yoga postures with an emphasis on proper alignment. Cost is $75 per person. Come align your body, mind and spirit! All ages are welcome and feel free to bring your friends!

FREE Microchip Clinic (Camano Island, WA)

Rain or shine!! The Camano Animal Shelter Association (CASA) is having a FREE microchip clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Please spread the word about this free clinic to make sure more dogs and cats are provided this life saving form of identification! Initial microchip registration is also free and shelter staff will register them for you. Dogs and cats eligible for this free service must be privately owned pets and able to be handled. Cats must be brought in inside a carrier and all dogs must be on a leash. Additionally, each animal needs to be at least two months old and weigh at least two pounds. Don't miss this awesome opportunity!

Stanwood Elementary PTO invites you to join in for an adults only evening for the 15th annual Pacific Northwest dinner and auction! Enjoy a delicious catered dinner and dessert. There will be silent/live items to bid on all while supporting Stannwood Elementary School. Money raised at this event goes back to the classrooms, STEM, 5th grade camp, fun assemblies and programs to enrich the lives of every child at SES. On top of that, they are hoping to raise enough money to provide school supplies for every student for the 2019/20 school year and to purchase some additional playground equipment. Get your friends and family off the couch and in the mud! Train for obstacle course racing with a YMCA personal trainer! The program includes: strengthening your anaerobic system to execute short bursts of strength and power, improving your muscular endurance for less entire body fatigue, taking body composition measurements at the start and end of the program, and learning about nutritional guidelines. This program is six weeks of obstacle course cross training with two trainings per week. Each training session is designed to challenge and prepare you for anything in an obstacle race. There is a $100 fee per person to join this awesome training group!
